Brentford v Southend United

The LDV Vans Trophy is split into two areas,North and South.The finals are played over two legs.The Northern Area Final will be between Lincoln City and Port Vale.(1st Leg Lincoln City 0-2 Port Vale)

The Southern Final 2nd Leg between Brentford and Southend United will be played on Tuesday 20th March at Griffin Park,kick off 7.45pm(1st Leg Southend 1-2 Brentford-See match Reports)!


Apart from the financial prize,a place in the final will give two of the "lesser" clubs in English football the opportunity to visit the magnificent Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.(BELOW).

The GRAND FINAL itself will be played on Sunday 22nd April 2001 with a 3.30pm kick off and will be shown around the world live on Sky T.V.
